Aylin Antmen
Aylin Antmen Yücel (born in Istanbul, in 1981) is a Turkish poet, essayist and editor.
She wrote her first poem when she was 13 years old. She has published poetry and prose. Antmen’s first published poem appeared in Patika poetry review in 2004. Her poems and articles were published in the reviews Varlık, Patika, Damar, Cumhuriyet Kitap, Özgür Edebiyat, etc.
Some of her poems have translated into many languages (English, Zaza, Urdu, Kurdish, Persian and French). The poems translated into English appeared in Turkish Poetry Today 2017, published in the UK. One of her poems was published in Mantis Magazine, published by Stanford University in the USA (May 2019). Finally, two of her poems were published in Circumference Magazine (2023).
She worked as an editor at Ve Publishing House between 2017-2021. In 2018, she founded Anima Publishing House together with Kenan Yücel. Between 2022 and 2024, Antmen published her articles on the intersection of psychoanalysis, poetry and philosophy in Varlık magazine.
She is currently studying at Istanbul University, Department of Sociology.
In 2006, published a book of Aykut O. Antmen's poems under the title Cosmic Core in his memory.
PRIZES Her works were found “remarkable” in 2008 Yaşar Nabi Nayır Youth Awards with “Sonsuzluğa Kiracı”
